SIGNING OF THE HEADS OF AGREEMENT FOR SARAWAK LPG BETWEEN TNB, TNBNIAGA AND
PETRONAS DAGANGAN BERHAD

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), PETRO-SNiaga Sdn Bhd (PETRO-SNiaga) and PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) marked the start of a strategic partnership for Sarawak's LPG market, accelerating the switch to red #tonggaskamek state-wide. A Heads of Agreement was signed on 12 December 2021 towards this.

State-wide coverage of TNB LPG will fulfil the State's aspiration to see more equitable access to LPG - an essential every day fuel for Sarawakians, and realising the intent of the Distribution of Gas Ordinance 2016.

“Today’s partnership for TNB LPG strategically supports the State’s aspiration to ensure equitable access to an essential everyday fuel for Sarawakians, securing the state’s oil and gas resources for sustainable domestic supply. We remain steadfast in collaborating with our industry partners and state counterparts to deliver energy into Sarawak homes, businesses and industries.” said Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr.) Hamid bin Bugo, Chairman of the Board of TNB.

Through this strategic partnership, PDB and PETRO-SNiaga will collaboratively market LPG products in the state, leveraging both companies’ expertise including PDB’s integrated LPG supply chain network
