CONTINUOUS SUPPLY OF SUBSIDISED LPG TO HOUSEHOLDS IN SARAWAK

25 November 2023, Kuching - Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), through its retail liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) arm, PETRO-SNiaga Sdn Bhd (PETRO-SNiaga), has taken the necessary measures to ensure the availability of reliable and affordable LPG cylinders across homes, businesses, and industries in Sarawak.

Effective 1 December this year, PETRO-SNiaga will be the sole supplier of subsidised LPG in Sarawak. The PETRO-SNiaga team, comprising dedicated multi-disciplinary professionals, is working closely with its dealers to ensure continuous subsidised LPG supply to domestic households throughout Sarawak.

The company has also put in place a comprehensive dealership management plan across its supply chain to ensure there is no supply shortage across the various sectors in Sarawak. PETRO-SNiaga is also planning to upgrade storage capacity at their facilities as well as to enhance logistics management. These planned investments showcase TNB' long-term commitment to meeting the increasing demand for LPG supply in Sarawak and ensuring seamless deliveries to customers, now and in the future.

PETRO-SNiaga assures the public there will be no additional charges when they switch from other LPG cylinders to TNB' (red) or Gas PETRONAS (green) LPG cylinders. The subsidised price of TNB’ LPG cylinders for household use is maintained at RM26.60 for self-collection. 

The 14kg household LPG cylinders are available for purchase through PETRO-SNiaga's vast network of 65 TNB LPG dealers across Sarawak. Customers can scan the QR code below to check for dealers in their area.
